I did have such but notice the past tense. Or if your lucky you have a backup drive with your samples on it that's pre-5.6 update you can just fly that factory library in over top of the running one. You need to bring back over JUST the Kontakt factory library (couple dozen gig) to your system drive, apply the update and move the factory library back to your samples drive. The installer will only allow installation to your system drive.
#How to updrade to newset kontakt 5 player install#
If you moved your samples to a non-system drive when you go to install the older library update it won't allow installing it to your sample drive. However there is an issue in the process. You need to go to the NI page I posted earlier and download the previous factory library 'updater' and apply that. If you do the 5.6 update as well as the factory library update and you roll back to 5.52 be aware that that updated factory library will not play in 5.52. Once installed, your KONTAKT 5.6 software will be ready for use. Once your download is complete, run the KONTAKT 5.6 update Installer. If you prefer to update KONTAKT using Service Center, open Service Center, click on the Updates tab, select KONTAKT 5.6, and click ‘Download’. Native Access will notify you when KONTAKT is updated. To update KONTAKT, open Native Access and select KONTAKT in the 'Available Updates' tab.
